Lori Hersberger

Lori Hersberger was born 1964 in Basel, where he studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule and later at the School of Art and Design. His art resides in public and private collections throughout Europe and the United States, including a number of large scale public installations. He received the Swiss Art Award in 1999 and 2000 and the Manor Art prize in 2001 and has been the recipient of numerous other grants. His work has been widely exhibited at venues internationally, including the Biennale of Venice, Museum of Contemporary Art Lyon, Kunsthaus Zurich, Museum of Contemporary Art Basel, Kunsthalle Vienna, Stedelijk Museum of Contemporary Art Ghent, Swiss Institute New York.
